One of the core concepts of mindfulness involves accepting things "as they are" in that moment, not as we wish them to be.
This may involve accepting things that we find unpleasant (waiting in lines, sitting in traffic, delays, bad weather, things not going our way, etc.). If you can change a situation that you don't like, by all means...do so. However, if it's something that can't be changed in that moment, try working on accepting it. Otherwise, your constant stream of negative, critical, "hot" and judgmental thoughts cause stress hormones to start brewing, affecting your mood, behavior and your health.
